Lukh is a small river that flows through the wild forest and fields of the western Nizhniy Novgorod region, away from villages and settlements.
You'll discover 25 miles of clear water and sandy beaches, with plenty of fishing and folk singing around the campfire guaranteed!
Nizhniy Novgorod is one of Russia's most ancient towns, founded 1221. Now it's a large industrial center, population about 2 mln people. The town lies at the confluence of two long rivers, the Volga and the Oka, 250 miles to the north-east of Moscow. A 7-hour journey on a luxury train or 1 hour by plane. In addition to the adventure tours, we can arrange accommodations and excursions around Nizhniy.
Itinerary:
Day 01. Friday. 10:00 a.m. depart N.Novgorod by charter bus from the Team Gorky office. Two hours driving to the put-in near the village of Frolishi. Rafting for 1 1/2 hours. Welcoming dinner. Overnight in tents.
Day 02. Saturday. Rafting down the river in rafts and kayaks. Swimming, fishing and fun.
Day 03. Sunday. Continue rafting down the river. Take-out near the village of Perovo on the Kliazma River. Charter bus for two hours to N.Novgorod, arriving around 7:00 p.m.

Payment: No deposit, final payment 7 days prior to departure.

Landcost and airfare
Trip prices are calculated according to the number of participants. If the minimum number is not met, Team Gorky reserves the right to cancel the trip or to apply a surcharge to the trip cost. When you book a trip with us, you will be invoiced based on the number of participants reserved at that time. Before the date of full payment, your invoice for full payment will be adjusted based on the final sign-up numbers, and refunds or surcharges will be issued if applicable.
All prices quoted in our Team Gorky brochure are based on operations costs and the rates of foreign currency exchange as of January 1, 2007. We do our best to avoid price increases, especially for those who have already reserved a trip with us, however, we reserve the right to adjust costs for increases we are unable to absorb. Team Gorky or our tour operators may be compelled to amend prices, and we reserve the right to do so without prior notice before or during the tour. In the case of an increase in trip prices, this shall not be sufficient grounds for any refund of funds for the trip. Money paid to Team Gorky for air tickets is money paid in trust for airlines, and Team Gorky assumes no responsibility for price or schedule fluctuations, delays, lost baggage, etc. Any costs incurred due to such circumstances are the passenger's responsibility. Airfares quoted do not include taxes.
