The Kerzenets is one of the most popular and beautiful river in the N.Novgorod region. You'll discover nature at its finest almost totally untouched by man, along with a secluded Old Believer's Monastery, and the Makarievsky Monastery on the Volga River. The Kerzenets River will take us to the National Forest near the village of Rustai, where clean beaches and wildlife abound.
Itinerary:
Day 1 Depart N.Novgorod by charter bus from the Team Gorky office for a 2 1/2 hour drive to where we put in near the village of Khahaly. Rafting for 1 1/2 hours. Welcoming dinner. Overnight in tents.
Days 2-8 Rafting down the river in rafts and kayaks. Swimming, fishing and folk singing around the campfire.
Day 9 Take-out near the village of Makarievo. Sightseeing at the Makarievsky Monastery. Depart by charter bus for N.Novgorod.
Cost: EURO 360, USD 500 (min 10 pax). Children under age 14 have a 50% discount.
Payment: Deposit 50 EURO/USD. Final payment 15 days prior to departure.
