Nepal, Bhutan, and Sikkim Overland Journey. 15 days

Region: Asia, the Himalayas, Nepal - Bhutan - Sikkim
Activity: overland journey

Season: March - April, October - November.

There are few kingdoms left in the world, fewer still that are genuinely medieval. Welcome to Bhutan, a country that strictly limits the number of visitors from the outside world. Be among the privileged few who travel here, and discover a peaceful, culturally distinct and enchanting nation.

Bhutan's elegant farmhouses stand amid tended fields. Ancient dzongs (fortified temple-monasteries) perch on the flanks of the Himalayas. Experience the mystique of the last eastern kingdoms.
